Waystones

Everyone has just one home, so waystones are how you travel long distances. Place them around the world, attune to other players’ public waystones, and teleport between them using Passage Runes.

You can place your first waystone at Warden rank, and one more at Prestige II, IV, VI and VIII (5 in total).

Right-click the top of a block in the survival world. It needs:

  • 2 free blocks above it
  • your own land, land you’re trusted in, or unclaimed land
  • at least 16 blocks from any other waystone

It’s named after the biome (e.g. “Moonlight Grove”) and you’re attuned to it automatically. New waystones start Private.

Right-click any waystone you’re allowed to use to attune to it (“Waystone Attuned”). Once attuned, it shows up in the menu of every waystone you visit.

You can use a waystone if it’s:

  • yours
  • Public
  • a Server Waystone (placed by staff)
  • Private, and its owner has trusted you in one of their land claims

Right-click a waystone and click a destination. You can only travel from a waystone.

Trip Cost
Same world 1 Passage Rune per 1,000 blocks (rounded up), min 1, max 5
To another world 3 Passage Runes
  • A 5-second countdown. Moving more than a block or taking damage cancels it.
  • Runes are only taken when the teleport actually happens.
  • 30-second cooldown between trips.
  • You arrive next to the waystone, facing away from it.
